The phone was officially unveiled yesterday, October 27, at an event held at Burj Khaleefa in Dubai.
The Porsche Design P’9981 smartphone from BlackBerry uses exclusive materials that include a forged stainless steel frame, hand-wrapped leather back cover, sculpted QWERTY keyboard, and crystal clear touch display. The Porsche Design P’9981 comes with an exclusive Porsche Design UI and a bespoke Wikitude World Browser augmented reality app experience. It also includes premium, exclusive PINs that help easily identify another P’9981 smartphone user.

SIZE - It is measuring 115 x 67 x 11.3 mm and has the weight of 155 grams. Means it is quite heavier than other normal phones.
DISPLAY - It has 2.8 inches TFT touchscreen with 640 x 480 pixels and 16 M colors. The display incorporates QWERTY keypad, Optical trackpad, Multi-touch input method, auto-rotate and auto turn off features.
NETWORKS - Work with both 2G and 3G networks in the frequency ranges GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 and HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100 respectively. 3G has its own advantages that you will feel when you use it.
