Kazuo Hirai Replace Sir Howard Stringer as Sony CEO.

Today the Sony via their official website announced that from April 1st 2012 Kazuo Hirai will serve as President and CEO of Sony.

Kazuo who currently serves as Executive Deputy President recommended directly by Stringer to take his place, while Stringer himself will replace Yutaro Kobayashi as Chairman.

The following is a statement about Kaz Stringer (Kazuo):

"I believe with assertiveness and leadership abilities will be more value for the company and the consumer in the future. I will help Kaz much as possible so that our success continues. It is an honor for me to recommend it (Kazuo) to shake the position of President and CEO, he is ready to lead and now is the time to make changes."

Kazuo Hirai is one figure who contributed to the development of the PlayStation.
