Google Drive, a new file storage service on the network by a company from Mountain View, is now almost officially announced, but the question remains - how much we can do with this space?
Google Operating System has looked at the source code for Google Docs and found several mentions of an SDK in conjunction with Google Drive, including a mention of "google-apps.drive-sdk" and an SDK "open with" command. This isn't conclusive proof, but it suggests that you'll be able to open Google Drive files with other applications.
Google Drive is an important upgrade to Google Docs that will detach the online storage service from the Google Docs apps and will make it more useful by offering more free storage, syncing apps and integration with web apps developed by other companies.
Panasonic introduce a ELUGA, which is fully waterproof android smartphone.

Today we release an Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) beta ROM, as a follow up to the previously released ICS alpha ROM. In line with our goal to support the open developer community, we want to give you the chance to try out our coming upgrade to ICS (Android™ 4.0) in this beta version.
While the ICS alpha ROM was an early preview, the ICS beta ROM have passed some certifications such as Modem type approval, and important functions like FM radio and GSM are turned on. However, additional certification and approval is needed before an official upgrade can be released. As previously communicated, we will upgrade all 2011 Xperia™ smartphones running on Android to ICS. Read more to find out what’s included in the beta ROM, and what other limitations apply.
Since we released the ICS alpha ROM, we have received many comments and suggestions on our ICS implementation. We are very grateful for all of this feedback, and we can guarantee you that we’ve read every single comment with great interest. Your opinion is important to us, and we have evaluated all suggestions in relation to all the other parameters we are taking into consideration.
In the ICS beta we are now releasing, we have kept elements that we know are valued by users. On top of that we will bring Ice Cream Sandwich elements to provide a unique experience.
Korean company LG announced a new device called the Vu. You need to have a lot of courage not only to bring to market something with that name, but based on the intention that the consumer electronics market is a niche between smartphones and tablets.

Fashion photographer and filmmaker Jacob Sutton swaps the studio for the slopes of Tignes in the Rhône-Alpes region of south-eastern France, with a luminous after hours short starring Artec pro snowboarder William Hughes. The electrifying film sees Hughes light up the snow-covered French hills in a bespoke L.E.D.-enveloped suit courtesy of designer and electronics whizz John Spatcher.
"I was really drawn to the idea of a lone character made of light surfing through darkness," says Sutton of his costume choice. "I've always been excited by unusual ways of lighting things, so it seemed like an exciting idea to make the subject of the film the only light source."
Sutton, who has created work for the likes of Hermès, Burberry and The New York Times, spent three nights on a skidoo with his trusty Red Epic camera at temperatures of -25C to snap Hughes carving effortlessly through the deep snow, even enlisting his own father to help maintain the temperamental suit throughout the demanding shoot.
"Filming in the suit was the most surreal thing I've done in 20 years of snowboarding," says Hughes of the charged salopettes. "Luckily there was plenty of vin rouge to keep me warm, and Jacob's enthusiasm kept everyone going through the cold nights."
Here's the video on how to create eBooks for the iPad with this presentation.

Apple's iBooks Author is free amazing new app that allows anyone to create beautiful Multi-Touch textbooks — and just about any other kind of book for iPad – You can either publish your eBooks as standard PDFs, that can be read anywhere. With galleries, video, interactive diagrams, 3D objects, and more, these books bring content to life in ways the printed page never could.
This 94-page eBook, authored by Adam Witwer and Nellie McKesson of O’Reilly, discusses tips and common pitfalls that you are less likely to find in the official help manual.

The most compelling part of iBooks Author is the widgets feature. This allows users to insert dynamic elements into pages, including photo galleries, movies, full Keynote presentations, interactive images and 3D objects. Using various actions and layout options, other animations and pop-ups can also be customized in the app to offer a rich experience. Users can even code their own HTML widgets to display custom content.
The NBA's newest star, NY Knick guard Jeremy Lin, has drawn the attention of sports fans around the globe, and his stellar play of late has caused big spike in YT searches, making his name one of the top rising search terms, globally, on YouTube last week.
Lin's stardom hit its highest thus far over the weekend, with much of the interest in the 23-year-old coming from New York and San Francisco as well as internationally from Taiwan and Hong Kong.
First We wanted the logo to be both modern and classic, referring to the International Typographic Style (Swiss Style), which had a huge impact on the design philosophy Metro. Using bold, flat colors, clean lines and shapes like the new logo design signs indicating the way to the airport or the subway.
Second It was important that the logo contains a principle which says that the Metro is to be "truly digital". So we tried not to imitate design characteristics such as materiality przemysłoweg (glass, wood, plastic, etc.). It also has in the movement - goes in line with fast, fluid style that you find in Windows 8
Third Eventually we wanted to see the logo was a modest, but confident. Is to encourage you, gentle slant perspective, and when you change the color of the logo, the changes will reflect you. It was, after the computer "personal".
Here's the video of Google Search Features. I like this video. That feels neat. Go Google!
The search team at Google has created a 2 minutes video that packs of all the useful stuff you can do on Google.com.
If Google can't make Google Voice Recognition hear different accents just like Siri, then and only then they have won over Siri.
And I just learned that you can drag images from the desktop and drop them on to the Google Images website and it will find similar images on the Internet – that’s much faster than using the “Browse” button.
Here's the Sneak Peek video of the upcoming Adobe Photoshop CS6 Fetures.
Straight from Photoshop Senior Product Manager Bryan O'Neil Hughes, this video shares how to seamlessly move or remove an object from an image.
Move allows you to draw a selection around and object and simply drag it to another location; Photoshop fills in the background and ensures that everything lines up. Extend lets you extend an object, by drawing a selection and then dragging it out; Photoshop again fills in the gap. Watch the video below, wipe up that puddle of drool, and then continue reading.

Charles Dickens is one of the world's best-loved writers, whose books – and the countless film and TV adaptations they inspire – still keep readers (and viewers) on the edge of their seats.
Now, 200 years on from his birth, his genius is to be feted with a host of events marking the bicentenary of one of Britain's most famous sons.
In London, the special events will begin with a celebrity performance, by actors Simon Callow and Joanna Lumley, at the Dickens family's graves in Highgate Cemetery on Monday.
And on Tuesday, the anniversary of Dickens' birth, the Prince of Wales will lay a wreath at Dickens' grave in Poet's Corner, Westminster Abbey, while actor Ralph Fiennes, Dickens' biographer Claire Tomalin and the author's great-great-grandson, Mark Dickens give readings.
Here the Charles Dickens Quotes:
A boy's story is the best that is ever told. Charles Dickens
A day wasted on others is not wasted on one's self. Charles Dickens
A loving heart is the truest wisdom. Charles Dickens
A person who can't pay gets another person who can't pay to guarantee that he can pay. Like a person with two wooden legs getting another person with two wooden legs to guarantee that he has got two natural legs. It don't make either of them able to do a walking-match. Charles Dickens
A wonderful fact to reflect upon, that every human creature is constituted to be that profound secret and mystery to every other. Charles Dickens
How to fix or dry iPhone in a water damage? What should you do if you accidentally drop your iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S and iPhone 5?
Well the first thing is don't take it back to an Apple Store or Carphone Warehouse and pretend it's nothing to do with water. The iPhone has four 'Liquid Submersion indicators' inside it that turn pink on contact with water - so they will know if you're telling porkies.
If you accidentally drop your iPhone in liquid, you may either use rice as shown in the video to revive that wet iPhone.
The warranty of electronic gadgets may not cover damage due to water.
Here the procedure for drying an iPhone 4 damaged by water is as follows:
It is important to get the iPhone 4 out of the water as soon as possible. Once the iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S out of the water, you turn it off immediately. If you see a white windmill on the screen and turns off the device, hold the power button and home button until it turns off. Then remove the card SIM.
Pack the iPhone in a sealed plastic bag of uncooked rice or Silica gel and store it in a dry place for at least three days. That should ensure all the moisture is drawn out from the electronic innards of your iPhone.
Squeeze the plastic bag for all the extra air out and seal.
If you can't get hold of the Silica gel quickly place your iPhone in a bag, container or box of uncooked rice and reseal it. This will keep it as dry as possible in the meantime. Transfer the iPhone to the Silica gel bags when you get them. As you know, they’re designed to absorb moisture, which means they offer a great method for sucking the water out of your wet device. Be patience at this time.
Finally connect up your iPhone to your PC, load up iTunes and try to do a complete Restore. This will provide you with the best chance of getting the iPhone to its pre-drenched working state.
Let the iPhone 4 in the plastic bag 48 to 76 hours and then turn it on. If still not working properly as a result of water damage, put the iPhone back on rice for about 12 hours more.

MIT researcher Andreas Mershin has a vision that within a few years, people in remote villages in the developing world may be able to make their own solar panels, at low cost, using otherwise worthless agricultural waste as their raw material.
Photovoltaic panels made from plant material could become a cheap, easy alternative to traditional solar cells.
These molecules are then stabilized and spread on a glass substrate that’s covered in a forest of zinc oxide nanowires and titanium dioxide “sponges.” When sunlight hits the panels, both the titanium dioxide and the new material absorb light and turn it into electricity, and the nanowires carry the electricity away. In essence, Mershin has replaced the layer of silicon in conventional photovoltaic cells with a slurry of photosynthesizing molecules. “It’s like an electric nanoforest,” he says.
So far so good — now time for the reality check. At the moment, even with the efficiency-boosting nanoforest, Mershin’s solar panel only has an efficiency of 0.1%. To be of any use — to power more than a single LED light from an entire house covered in these cheap solar panels — an efficiency of 1 or 2% is required. With such a low barrier to entry, though, Mershin hopes that scientists the world over can now work on boosting the efficiency.
Here the leaked photos of Asus TF300T Android Tablet.
Asus recently announced a new Transformer Prime with a higher resolution display, and that came with the model number TF700T, so this new TF300T could possibly be a budget version.
Apparently a QuieTek certification doc showed the TF300T codename that is apparently numerically higher then its Transformer sibling with the original Transformer having the codename “TF101” whilst the Asus Transformer Prime codename was “TF201.”

The world’s largest social network is going public. Facebook filed the initial paperwork for its public stock offering on February 1, revealing some interesting statistics and future plans in the process.
According to the filing, Facebook now sports a record 845 million active users, up 39 percent from the year before. More than half of Facebook users (483 million) log on to the site daily and 50 percent of users (425 million) access Facebook using their mobile device.
Ancestry.com founder and Google+ tracker Paul Allen announced that, by his estimates, Google+ passed the 100 million user milestone on February 1. He added that the social network is on track to hit at least 400 million users by the end of 2012.
Google CEO Larry Page revealed that Google+ had grown to reach more than 90 million users on January 19 but declined to provide active user figures.
While Google is excited about its mobile future, Facebook is concerned that it will have to change its ad-free policy as mobile usage grows or miss out on a large portion of revenue.
For the time being, Facebook does not display ads to mobile users but reveals in the filing that “the number of ads that we deliver to users and our revenue may be negatively affected unless and until we include ads or sponsored stories on our mobile apps and mobile website.”
Facebook also notes that it will need to maintain a good relationship with developers who create apps for the Facebook platform lest they “choose to build on other platforms, including mobile platforms [such as iOS and Android] controlled by third parties.”
The Wall Street Journal reports that Facebook “hopes to raise as much as $10 billion when it begins selling shares this spring.”
Report said Google+ now has surpasses 100 million users, and Facebook has 845 million online users.
Google+ is expanding at a tremendous pace 750,000 users per day! Google prediction: 400 million users on this site before the end of 2012.
Google + is growing extremely rapidly: it now uses 100 million Internet users. Scientist Paul Allen, who watches portal, bet that by the end of the base portal boast 345 million users. If Google will use other mechanisms to increase the number of users (eg, mandatory profile setting Google + when creating a Google account) is 400 million before the end of 2012 is quite real. In the "enemy camp" are preparing for the IPO.
Facebook plans to collect 5 or $ 10 billion in stock market debut, which is to take place somewhere around May. Additionally, the portal has released new statistics: Facebook boasts 845 million active users and 483 million who enter the FB every day. neowin

According to crackberry site, press photos so they look the upcoming RIM's smartphone. The rumor is that it is to be "supertelefon" next-generation BlackBerry 10, codenamed London. Of course, if more information is missing, but I must admit that the phone looks elegant.
Apparently, there are testing both CPU OMAP5 TI and Qualcomm 1.5 Ghz dual-core.
The most noted of these images is the design of such devices looks quite different from the previous image suspected as the BlackBerry London.
From the previous picture is silver accents and the edges are sturdy and durable so it looked like the Porsche Design P 9981 BlackBerry, but for the image that currently appears more like a descendant of the playbook and Droid X.
Maybe we still have to wait until the edge actually provide official information about the release of BlackBerry 10.
