Huawei Ascend P1 is available in three color - black, white and pink.
Ascend P1 should be released in China first, starting mid-April.
After that, the handset will reach other markets, including the UK, France, Germany, Sweden, Russia, Japan, and Australia. North America wasn’t mentioned.
That is very promising, right? All the more pity that such potentially good equipment will not come straight to the Polish. Well - we just left to wait.

The Le Pan III was previewed during CES 2012, where it was shown to be running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. It will have a TI OMAP 4460, 1.5 GHz Dual-core processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 32 GB via micro SD.
It has dimensions of 236 x 189 x 12.4 mm. There is no word on its pricing, although it is expected to be sold at a higher price range than previous models, which sold for $200 to $280, because it is a flagship model.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS module. There are also dual cameras: a 5 MP rear-facing shooter and a 2 MP front-facing snapper. The device carries support for Ethernet, 1080p video playback, and USB OTG.
Le Pan products are popular with those looking for cheap but quality tablets. Its predecessors, the Le Pan and the Le Pan II both get positive reviews on Amazon.
Photographs, along with the instruction manual the device appeared on the network because of an agreement they should be secret between the FCC (the Commission) and Sony. There are, however, date back until September last year, which is quite significant questions whether any plans for Sony, which to launch in the near (or any) of the future process of mass production and sale of Chromebook, and above all because they were not, in practice such hit, as expected.
The device, referred to in documents as the Sony VAIO FCC VCC111, was to be fully equipped with the 11.6-inch display, Chrome OS-specific hotkeys, SSD, and also in support for USB 2.0 module, HDMI and SD.
This could be an Nvidia Tegra 2 T25 ARM based processor, which would be interesting as it would make for the first Chromebook to run on a non-Intel based processor.
Sony VAIO Chromebook Specs, question mark indicates assumed or unsure:
Processor: Nvidia Tegra 250 T25 1.2GHz ARM based processor (?)
Screen: 11.6” diagonal, produced by Samsung
OS: Chrome OS
Memory: 2GB RAM (?)
Ports: two USB 2.0, SD card reader, headphone port, microphone port, HDMI
Wireless: 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth
Storage: SSD – 16GB (?)
Pricing on Chromebooks generally start around $299 – $400 range, so we’d expect this Sony to be about the same, based on pictures there doesn’t appear to be anything extra special Sony has done to warrant a higher price.

HTC has released the video about their new Micro Arc Oxidation (MAO) process which is Thin But Strong, Doesn't Need a Case, More Durable Casing. Amazingly new ideas thousands times.
To create the extremely durable, premium finish for HTC One S we use a process called micro-arc oxidation.
Originally designed for use on satellites and race cars, the process starts with aircraft aluminum. Ten thousand volts of electricity hit the metal, almost like lighting strikes, causing a microscopic transformation which creates a super-strong ceramic case that is five times stronger than aerospace aluminum.

Optical Fiber Communication Conference in Los Angeles, a team from IBM presented research on their wonderfully-named "Holey Optochip." The prototype chipset is the first parallel optical transceiver that is able to transfer one trillion bits (or one terabit) of information per second. To put that in perspective, IBM states that 500 high-def movies could be downloaded in one second at that speed, while the entire U.S. Library of Congress web archive could be downloaded in an hour. Stated another way, the Optochip is eight times faster than any other parallel optical components currently available, with a speed that's equivalent to the bandwidth consumed by 100,000 users, if they were using regular 10 Mb/s high-speed internet.
One of the unique features of parallel optic chips is the fact that they can simultaneously send and receive data. The Holey Optochip capitalizes on that feature, for its record-setting performance.
The "Holey" in the name comes from the fact that the team started with a standard silicon CMOS chip, but bored 48 holes into it. These allow optical access to its inside back surface, where 24 separate receiver and transmitter channels are located - for a total of 48 channels. Each of those channels has its own dedicated VCSEL (vertical cavity surface emitting laser) and photodetector, which are used respectively for sending and receiving data. The chip is designed to be coupled to a multimode fiber array, via a microlens optical system.
The latest Android smartphone from Sony, the Xperia sola, takes the touch out of the touch screen – although we’re not yet sure how.
Just like magic. Or click on a flick from Video Unlimited for blockbuster movies in super-high quality on the razor sharp Reality Display.
“Sony’s unique floating touch lets consumers navigate the web by hovering their finger above the screen so it acts like a moving curser, without actually having to touch the screen,” Sony claims, adding that the technology will evolve through “software updates and engagement with developers.”
Other than that, the device is a fairly standard Android 2.3 handset (upgradeable to Android 4.0 during summer 2012), with a 3.7” Reality Display, a 1 GHz dual-core CPU, NFC and Xperia SmartTags support, as well as “3D surround sound.”
The device should hit the market globally in three colors – black, white and red – in the second quarter of 2012.
After the Windows 8 Consumer Preview was released this week, it took me a few hours to decide wether or not I wanted to install it on my old HP TouchSmart tm2 that I use daily and bought a while before the original iPad came out. Needless to say I took the plunge after the setup program told me just about everything I had already installed would be compatible.
It turns out Windows 8 is going to be a lot like Windows Phone 7 and that's probably a good thing. You've got full screen "Metro" style apps that have no reminants of application chrome or even operating system controls. You've got the gorgeous live tiles that animate with pictures, social network notifications, messages, emails and weather. Everything is very smooth and responsive to the touch.
However there are some big differences. First of all, I was quite content with the Windows 7 touch interface. You touch the buttons and they activate. That's pretty simple. Now that I've been using Windows 8 though, I'm much more impressed. The touch UI is designed to be both ergonomic, highly efficient, and clutter free! The main controls are right next to the bezel where your thumbs would be if you were holding a tablet. Just swipe your thumb along the left side to flip between open apps. Swipe across it and then back to show a list of thumbnails representing open apps that you can easily tap to open the one you're looking for. Then swiping on the right side with your thumb opens the "charms" for other types of operating-system interactions. It's really quite nice once you learn how to use it, and that's really the only issue... there's nothing on the screen giving you any kind of indication on how to interact with this new user interface.
Overall, I'm very impressed with the speed, usability, and preview apps in the Windows 8 Consumer Preview. I'm glad that Microsoft went this direction for their new tablet initiative rather than scaling up a mobile operating system like Windows Phone 7. The fact that you can easily jump back into a desktop computer interface in order to run all of your high-end content-creation programs (even though they may not be designed for touch UIs) is fantastic for mobile productivity.
Caterpillar unveils the CAT B10, a new IP67-certified rugged Android smartphone.
The rubberized casing of the phone is built to withstand scratches, dust, and water. The CAT B10 even has the papers to prove it, claiming the industry-standard IP67 certification. In addition to taking a serious beating, the CAT B10 can be submerged underwater, up to 1 m deep, for up to 30 minutes. So feel free to drop it puddles (or a fresh batch of concrete) whenever you feel like it. By the way, waterproofing is a hot trend this year.
The CAT B10, a 3.2-inch display device with a protective rubber covering and a single-core 800MHz Qualcomm processor. The device also has a 5-megapixel camera and a front-facing webcam, though no exact megapixel information was provided. Furthermore, the device is said to come running Android 2.3.5 (Gingerbread), but should get updated to Ice Cream Sandwich “at some point.” No specifics were given regarding said update. As for availability, look for the CAT B10 to hit store shelves worldwide sometime in May, with European pricing set at €379 (around $500) off-contract.

Here's the Xperia P features, specification, prices, pictures and video. Sony wants each of its phone to be unique it looks very pretty.
Sony Xperia™ P is the latest addition to the Xperia™ NXT series of next generation smartphones from Sony. Xperia™ P offers an ultra-bright viewing experience thanks to the introduction of WhiteMagic™ screen technology, and comes with a 4" Reality Display housed in aluminium, unibody design for a sleek look and feel.
Xperia™ P also introduces the new ST-Ericsson U8500 platform, which provides a 1 GHz dual core processor with SMP technology for high-end performance. Plus, Xperia™ P gives you an 8MP capture camera, full 1080p HD recording & front camera, NFC, and a ton of other features.
The Xperia P is the first handset to include Sony’s WhiteMagic tech, which adds an extra white subpixel to each pixel on the screen, making for a horizontally-aligned RGBW pixel layout. for the less technically inclined, what this means is better screen visibility when outdoors. The difference compared to standard LCD and SuperAMOLED displays is quite striking -- the Xperia P's screen remains clear and usable even in very bright conditions.
On the inside, there’s a dual-core 1GHz ST-Ericsson NovaThor chip running the show, backed up by 1GB of RAM. We’ve already seen NovaThors in a couple of entry-level Android smartphones, and while it’s not the fastest dual-core chip around, it delivers plenty of horsepower for a phone like the Xperia P. As we already mentioned, there’s no removable storage to be found in the Xperia P, but the 16GB of on-board memory is a reasonable amount for this kind of device. It’s split into 2GB for apps and 11GB for media, with the rest being taken up by the OS. So overall it’s a reasonable hardware package, and a decent step up from the Xperia U, which offered 512MB of RAM and a dismal 4GB of non-expandable media storage.

Sony Xperia P Battery
The combination of a 1305mAh battery and Sony’s new super-bright display tech makes for battery life that’s decidedly average (though not entirely terrible). With our regular usage patterns consisting of web browsing, snapping a few photos, a little music playback and the occasional voice call, use we got 13-14 hours on the Xperia P before that battery warning light started to flash.
The Xperia P’s screen was the device’s biggest battery hog, as we noticed the phone’s longevity decreased rapidly the more we used it outdoors, forcing that brightness to crank up further. Fortunately there are two auto-brightness settings on the device -- one for max brightness, one for power saving. The bottom line is that Sony’s mid-range offering delivers battery life that’s generally acceptable, though if you’re a heavy user you may need to allow for a midday charge.
Sony Xperia P Camera
The Xperia P’s rear shooter produces great-looking 8MP shots in a wide range of conditions. Photo capture speeds aren’t the fastest we’ve seen on a phone by any means, but you can’t argue with the resulting images. Macro shots in particular are a strength of Sony’s 8MP EXMOR R camera, and the f/2.4 lens means it does reasonably well in low-light too, though the device does struggle to focus in such conditions.
Like other Xperia phones, the Xperia P supports 3D panoramic recording, though you'll need a 3D TV to play back content recorded in this phone.
