The Nexus 7 is designed specifically for Google Play, an online store that sells movies, music, books, apps and other content. That mirrors Amazon's strategy with the Kindle Fire, although Amazon's strength in online retailing has seeded its store with a more extensive selection than Google Play. Amazon declined comment.
According to Australian website Gizmondo, The Google Nexus 7's touch-screen is thought to be an IPS display which will run at a resolution of 1280*800 pixels. The tablet will be powered by a 1.3 Ghz quad-core processor, which will work in combination with 1GB of RAM.
Android Jelly Bean is set to launch in October , which is around the time we expect the Nexus 7 to launch. Therefore, we're expecting the tablet to be one of the first devices to run the new version of Google's operating system.

Google Drive, a new file storage service on the network by a company from Mountain View, is now almost officially announced, but the question remains - how much we can do with this space?
Google Operating System has looked at the source code for Google Docs and found several mentions of an SDK in conjunction with Google Drive, including a mention of "google-apps.drive-sdk" and an SDK "open with" command. This isn't conclusive proof, but it suggests that you'll be able to open Google Drive files with other applications.
Google Drive is an important upgrade to Google Docs that will detach the online storage service from the Google Docs apps and will make it more useful by offering more free storage, syncing apps and integration with web apps developed by other companies.

If Google can't make Google Voice Recognition hear different accents just like Siri, then and only then they have won over Siri.
And I just learned that you can drag images from the desktop and drop them on to the Google Images website and it will find similar images on the Internet – that’s much faster than using the “Browse” button.
