The LG Optimus G Smartphone is rumored to be use a processor made by Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro also will be equipped with the latest IPS Screen Display Technology.

Reported by Pocket-lint (08/26/2012), LG Display’s True HD IPS+ Display is sharper than today’s AMOLED displays due to its high pixel density of 320ppi (1280x768 pixels) and Stripe RGB IPS Panel. The new display is capable of generating 470 nits of brightness while consuming 70 per cent less power compared when displaying a white background.

In addition,the Korean company its chemical division has created a new battery for the phone that will mean it is 60 per cent more efficient than similar sized batteries, while it's display division, which is rumoured to be providing the new screen on the iPhone 5 from Apple has created a new AMOLED display that also requires less power..

Korean multinational electronics company LG is reportedly developing a thinner display panels with technology in-cell for the next Apple Smartphone iPhone.

Reuters reports that LG company has ordered the mass production of a batch of 4-inch displays in preparation for the unveiling of Apple's new handset next month.

"We just began mass production and we don't expect any disruption in supplies," LG Display's chief executive Han Sang-beom told reporters.

The screens are said to feature an in-cell panel that eliminates the need for the touch-screen layer underneath, allowing for a slimmer form factor. A 4-inch display would bring the iPhone range in line with competitors such as the Samsung Galaxy S3.

Apple's next handset has also been tipped to feature a smaller connector dock, and metal alloy back casing, as well as 4G LTE, NFC technology and the iOS 6 operating system.

To be sure, all had to wait until September 12 where Apple will announce something on that date.

The new LG Optimus LTE2 Smartphone Offers 4.7-Inch Display, 2GB of RAM.

Korean company LG announced a new device called the Vu. You need to have a lot of courage not only to bring to market something with that name, but based on the intention that the consumer electronics market is a niche between smartphones and tablets.

LG has announced that it has developed the largest Organic Light Emitting Diodes (OLED technology) TV panels in the world. The Korean company offers 55 inches and is described as a significant step forward for display technology.

The panel is also just 5 mm thin and has a color gamut that is “wider” than that produced by LCD panels. All of these characteristics make it a candidate for bringing OLED TV technology to the masses in a market that’s still dominated by LCDs.

LG expect, the 55-inch panel is not only able to prove its popularity, but also makes feasible the OLED TV market from home. " Our goal has always been actively define and lead the emerging display technology market," said Dr. Sang Beom Han, CEO and Executive Vice President of LG Display, as reported by Engadget, Tuesday (12/25/2011).

"Although the technology is seen as the future of OLED TV display, but until now this technology is limited by a smaller display size and high cost. Now the 55-inch OLED TV LG displays have managed to overcome these obstacles," explained Han.
