Angry Birds has reached 500 million plus a total downloads across numerous platforms, making it one of the most downloaded games ever. Last September Angry Birds games pass-over 350 Million Downloads.

The game’s developer Rovio also revealed statistics on how much the game has been played globally since its release in late 2009.

Rovio Teases new update for angry birds season – Angry Birds Adventures with A Surprise for Halloween.

It was a dark and stormy night as the Angry Birds' newest adventure begins. The murky woods has spine-chilling creatures lurking in the shadows, but that won't stop the Angry Birds. The game’s developer, Rovio, announce that Angry Birds Surpasses 350M Total of Downloads, across all versions of the game.

A Market Research Release Infographic of Angry Birds, study found that male game players are 35 percent more likely than females to convert from the free version of Angry Birds to the paid version.

Specifically, males 18-24 are the most likely to convert: 29 percent more so than 25+, 32 percent more than 18-24 females, and 76 percent more than the game's lowest-converting demographic, females over 25.

In terms of addiction, 54% of gamers occasionally felt this, with 18% saying never, 15% often and 13% always. Some 35% of males were more than likely to change from free to paid Angry Birds than females, with 33% of 18-24 years buying the game than someone of 25+.
